Privacy Policy
PressureLog is designed for private blood pressure and cardiac health tracking. Health data is used only to provide the app's health tracking, reporting, reminder, Apple Watch, widget, Apple Health, cloud sync, and caregiver-sharing features.
Information You Choose to Store
PressureLog may store blood pressure readings, pulse, medication entries, dose logs, symptoms, labs, ECG attachments, weight-related settings, reports, caregiver sharing records, and app preferences that you choose to enter or import.
Apple Health
If you enable Apple Health, PressureLog may read supported health records such as blood pressure, heart rate, weight, steps, resting heart rate, and ECG records. PressureLog may write blood pressure, pulse, and weight entries back to Apple Health when you choose to enable those features. You can revoke Apple Health access at any time in iOS Settings.
Firebase Sync and Care Sharing
PressureLog stores records on your device first. If you sign in with Apple and enable cloud sync or invite a care team member, selected app records may sync to Firebase so your history can follow you across devices or be visible to invited read-only caregivers. Caregiver viewers receive read-only access unless you explicitly use a role that allows tracking.
Accounts and Purchases
Sign in with Apple creates the Firebase account used for optional cloud sync and caregiver sharing. PressureLog uses Apple's In-App Purchase system for annual access and the one-time lifetime Full Access unlock. Purchase processing is handled by Apple.
Notifications and Camera
PressureLog uses local notifications for reminders and summaries. If you use BP scanner features, camera access helps capture readings from your blood pressure device display. Camera input is used for that feature and is not used for advertising.
No Advertising or Tracking
PressureLog does not use health data for advertising, marketing, data mining, or third-party tracking.
Children
PressureLog is not directed to children.
Medical Disclaimer
PressureLog is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or replace professional medical care. If you believe you may be having a medical emergency, call emergency services immediately.
Data Retention
Data stored only on your device is retained until you delete it within the app or uninstall the app. If you enable cloud sync, your records are stored in Firebase and are retained until you delete your account. Caregiver sharing connections are removed when you revoke access or delete your account. We do not retain your health data for any purpose beyond providing the app's features.
Data Deletion
You can delete your PressureLog account and all associated cloud data at any time by going to Settings → Account → Delete Account within the app. Deleting your account permanently removes your synced health records, caregiver connections, and sign-in credentials from our servers within 30 days. Data stored only on your device is removed when you uninstall the app. If you need assistance, you can also submit a deletion request through the support page.
